The next collectible Barbie is out, and she’s a real pro. Inspired by Serena Williams’ championship victory in at the 2005 Australian Open, the Barbie Signature Serena Williams Doll pays homage to the look from her triumphant return to Grand Slam champion and 7th Singles title win.
The new doll is a follow up to the one-of-a-kind Role Model Serena doll released in March 2026 as part of the Barbie brand’s global “Dream Team” of eight female changemakers who were among the “firsts” in their field.
In commenting on the new doll, Serena said, “Growing up, I didn’t see many girls who looked like me being told there was no limit to who they could become. I want every girl who plays with this doll to see possibility—not just in me, but in herself. She can dream big, work hard, change direction, break barriers, and become anything she chooses. That’s what makes having my own Barbie so meaningful to me.”
Concurrent with the release of the doll Mattel said the Barbie Dream Gap Project is donating to Mrs. Rina’s House of Blessings, which they call “a cause close to Serena’s heart,” to fund programming focused on educating, training and inspiring children of struggling families to become compassionate leaders. The donation will help inspire the limitless potential of every
child and invest more resources to create generational change for the kids and families in Martin County, Florida.
The doll is currently available in Target stores and online at mass retailers and Mattel Creations for $45.
