Winner Announced: Hot Wheels Legends Tour – El Segundo

The winner of the final regional tour stop on the 2025 Hot Wheels Legends Tour was just announced in El Segundo at Hot Wheels Headquarters! Joe Magliato of Orange, California, claimed the top spot in Los Angeles with his completely custom brass and copper vehicle named Trinity.

Today’s event at the Hot Wheels headquarters in El Segundo was especially noteworthy, drawing the largest turnout yet for a Hot Wheels Legends Tour stop, with more than 350 competing vehicles, 19,000 fans in attendance, and the most judges ever on site.

About Trinity

Hand-built over six years by Magliato, a full-time blacksmith and coppersmith, Trinity was inspired by the concept of a futuristic stagecoach. Nearly every component was fabricated by hand, including the copper-and-brass body, frame, gas tanks, seats, steering wheel, dashboard, and stainless exhaust. Inside, hammered aluminum and copper seats surprise with their comfort, while the unique three-seat configuration places the rear passenger higher than the front two—with their head rising above the roofline. Beneath the gleaming copper and brass exterior, a rebuilt truck motor is mated to a 700R transmission and a Jaguar rear end. Riding on rugged steelie wheels, Trinity’s flowing lines form a striking silhouette that resembles a sunrise when viewed from afar. Captivating the judges at today’s event, Magliato’s gleaming creation earned the win and a spot in next month’s U.S. Hot Wheels Legends Tour regional finals.
