Kuala Lumpur – 9 March 2026 – Play Interactive Holdings (“Play Interactive”), a leading IP-driven retail and entertainment group in Southeast Asia, has recently opened a Care Bears store at Toppen Shopping Centre in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, on 15 February 2026. This opening marks the fifth Care Bears retail establishment in Malaysia, reflecting the company’s continued interest and commitment to the IP licensing business as the official licensee of the Care Bears brand from Cloudco Entertainment (“Cloudco”) for the Malaysian territory.
The current Care Bears store locations operated by Play Interactive (as of February 2026) are:
- Care Bears Pavilion Bukit Jalil, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur (opened 30 May 2025)
- Care Bears 1 Utama Shopping Centre, Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya, Selangor (opened 3 October 2025)
- Care Bears Bukit Bintang, ANSA Hotel, Kuala Lumpur City Centre (opened 11 December 2025)
- Care Bears IOI City Mall, Putrajaya (opened 13 December 2025)
- Care Bears Toppen Shopping Centre, Johor Bahru, Johor (opened 15 February 2026)

The pastel, multi-coloured interiors are designed to evoke the feeling of stepping into the Care Bears’ world, where love, joy, and fun are freely expressed.
