Winner Announced: 2025 Hot Wheels Legends Tour – July 12 Kansas City Event (PR)

The winner of today’s Hot Wheels Legends Tour Kansas City stop was just announced!

With more than 155 cars competing and 7,000 fans in attendance, Kansas City local Clint DeVine won the judges over with his custom 1990 Chevrolet S10 Truck.

About the 1990 Chevrolet S10 Truck

Pickup trucks are an everyday sight in Kansas City, but Clint DeVine’s Chevy S10 stands out from the crowd thanks to its lowered stance and distinctive patina inspired by his grandmother’s love of antiques and western styling. To achieve the impressive drop, he installed a custom air suspension allowing the truck to be lowered pneumatically until the body lays flush with the pavement or lifted enough to drive. Where DeVine grew up in Texas, many of the trucks were equipped with western style hauler beds and he made the choice to incorporate the bed style in his build creating a streamline appearance not typically seen on lowered trucks. In addition to the custom body work, DeVine also wanted a unique engine for his project. While small block V8 engines are a common swap in the S10 community, DeVine dropped a fully built 4.1 liter 250 inline-6 engine from a 1970 Chevy along with a new TH350 transmission into his build. Impressed by the creativity, authenticity, and garage spirit evident in DeVine’s build, the judges in Kansas City awarded him the top spot today.
