About the 1990 Nissan 300ZX “Earl Leekers”

Georgia-native Jared Pink secured the trophy at today’s Hot Wheels Legends Tour stop in Atlanta with his custom Nissan 300ZX, coined “Earl Leekers,” with the nickname proudly displayed on a side decal. Pink saved the downtrodden Nissan from the scrapyard and created a machine tied to his passion for closed-course activities, including burnouts. Over the past five years, Pink has been documenting the evolution of Earl, as he affectionately calls the build, on his YouTube. Powered by a Chevy Big Block V8 with a ram tunnel and scoop, the custom build is all about maximizing power and presence. In true showman style, Pink left off the hood to showcase the monstrous engine, paired with a straight-pipe exhaust exiting just feet from the motor. The build also features Silvers coilovers, Konig wheels, and Nitto tires, with a stripped-down interior, as the real star of the show is what’s under the (non-existent) hood. Pink has done nearly all the work himself at his shop, exemplifying the Hot Wheels garage spirit and authenticity that scored him the win in Atlanta today.
