The winner of today’s Hot Wheels Legends Tour Houston stop was just announced – more than 110 cars participated and more than 6,000 Hot Wheels fans attended the event at Walmart in Tomball, Texas!
Mikey Brown has been crowned winner of the Houston event, with his 1957 BMW Isetta “RV.”
About the 1957 BMW Isetta “RV”
Inspired by large Recreational Vehicles (RVs) seen at campsites across America, Mikey Brown’s 1957 BMW Isetta takes a creative spin on a personal RV. This unique vehicle started its journey as a scrap pile. Brown only had a wall hanger front door, a piece of roof, the upper wheel-well lips, and a chalkboard drawing of what it could become with a lot of work. After 80 days, all by himself – design, engineering, bodywork, fabrication, paint, upholstery, and assembly – Baker had created the BMW Isetta RV, redefining the name “RV” as Redemption Vehicle. With a Walmart crate motor, his design is now fully functional as a usable camper to take his kids exploring on the weekends.
Mikey Brown’s creativity and garage spirit impressed the judges enough to take home the trophy at the 2024 Hot Wheels Legends Tour Houston stop.
