
FOLLOWING CONTINUED GROWTH SAMBRO EXTENDS PUZZLE PALZ™ RANGE WITH NEW FORMATS AND LICENSES
Global toy supplier Sambro International has announced a major range extension in its own brand stationery and collectables Puzzle Palz™ range following continued success and demand.
With over 50 million units sold since its launch in 2016, and 3 million units sold in the last year alone, these novelty collectable stationery toys have proven to be firm favourites with licensors, retailers, children and parents across the UK and EU.
Developed and launched in 2016, Puzzle Palz™ provided a first step into its own IP in the collectables sector for Sambro, allowing the firm to bring together its decades of expertise in the stationery and collectables spaces, opening up new commercial opportunities with existing and new licensors.
Featuring characters from popular TV and film licenses these adorable 3D jigsaw puzzle erasers are currently available in over 16 licensed ranges including Disney, Marvel, Peppa Pig, PAW Patrol™ and more recently Gabby’s Dollhouse and SpongeBob SquarePants, with even more newness in the pipeline for 2025 and beyond. Puzzle Palz™ is sold in 12 territories and 20 retailers across the UK and EMEA regions.
Since launch Sambro has constantly evolved and innovated Puzzle Palz™, moving from characters to vehicles, adding scents, and even super-size versions, ensuring the range remains at forefront of the arts & crafts, novelty and collectable sectors.
New licenses planned for AW24 and into SS25, include Gabby’s Dollhouse, Disney Villains, Magic Mixies, Minions, SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Transformers and Piñata Smashlings. Top seller Gabby’s Dollhouse has already sold over 500,000 units since launching this year.
Sambro has also invested in developing the packaging for the newest Puzzle Palz™ ranges offering plastic-free packaging options for retailers, whilst still retaining features such as the on pack play design, ensuring the toys continue to have shelf appeal.
The full Puzzle Palz™ range including new licenses and formats, will be showcased at this year’s Toymaster May Show, alongside specially selected WOW product lines. Featuring a selection of top-selling arts & crafts, outdoor toys and plush products, these WOW ranges will offer retailers and licensors exclusive deals, available only to those visiting the Sambro Toymaster stand.
