Chennai, India — October 2025: India’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem is entering an exciting new phase — powered by women innovators reimagining education through play. Leading this movement is STEMPlay Labs, a Chennai-based education startup founded by Ms. Aditi Prasad, which officially launched this month with a mission to make play the foundation of future learning.
STEMPlay Labs embodies the spirit of “Swadeshi 2.0” — a modern vision of self-reliant, Made-in-India innovation designed for a global audience. The company is pioneering a new category of screen-free STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) toys that nurture creativity, curiosity, and 21st-century skills in children around the world.
“At STEMPlay Labs, we believe the future is built through play,” said Aditi Prasad, Founder of STEMPlay Labs. “Our products are Born in India, Built for the World. Every toy reflects the spirit of Swadeshi 2.0 — combining Indian innovation with international standards to help children think critically, solve problems, and create — all without screens.”
Innovations at Launch:
The company debuted two signature products at launch:
- Wonder Briks™— Patent-pending side-locking construction bricks that inspire imagination and open-ended STEM play.
- PictoMath™ — A visual math card game that makes numbers fun and intuitive for learners aged 6 to 99.
Each product is designed to grow with the child, offering years of sustainable, hands-on learning that strengthens creativity, focus, and family bonding.
Empowering Through Play
STEMPlay Labs’ mission is guided by four core principles:

4. Made in India, Global in Vision – Fusing indigenous innovation with global standards.
