On Wednesday, the European Parliament plenary vote on the proposed Toy Safety Regulation, Toy Industries of Europe (TIE) says it is ‘very worried’ about unintended consequences.
The new requirements are intended to help with requirements and such issues as chemicals used in toys, but loopholes may hamper the toy industry. The entire report is here.
