This year’s Spielwarenmesse will take place January 30 – February 3, 2024, so It’s time to make your plans for this year’s Spielwarenmesse. The Spielwarenmesse, situated in medieval Nuremberg, Germany, is the world’s largest toy trade show. It comprises 17 buildings covering 2,368,060 square feet of space and featuring over a million toys; it is a must-visit destination for anyone who works in the toy industry.

Nuremberg may be medieval, but it hosts a variety of hotels, restaurants, and bars, some modern, some quaint, and most charming. Dining out, eating Nuremberg Sausage, and drinking beer are part of the Spielwarenmesse experience, so don’t miss out.
If you want to learn how best to get to or around Nuremberg, check out this site: “How to Get to the Spielwarenmese.” The easiest and least expensive way to get to the Fairgrounds is to take the U-Bahn (subway) to the Fairgrounds. It’s clean, safe, easy to find, convenient to take, and free to ride for Spielwarenmesse attendees.
Here is a U-Bahn map. I have circled the main train station (Hauptbonhauf) and the fair grounds (the Messe).

Hotel rooms get scarce the closer you get to show time, January 30 – February 3, 2024. If you wish to attend, you can book a room by visiting the Nuremberg Tourist Office.
