I found a fascinating article on increases and decreases of goods over a twenty-year period, 2000 to 2020. Although college and medical care have gone up as much as 200%, the cost of cellphone, televisions, and toys have declined. In fact, according to the article, toys are down more than 70%.
Conclusion (with some exceptions): Goods and Services that are US based (colleges, heath-care, homes, etc. are up significantly). Goods that come from ASIA PAC, etc. are flat to down significantly (toys, cellphones, TV’s, etc.).
