Forbes’s 2023 List of Best Midsize Employers – What Toy and Toy-Related Companies Made the List

What are America’s best places to work? In conjunction with Statista, Forbes decided to find out by surveying 45,000 individuals. The result was two lists, 500 companies each: Forbes’s 2023 Best Midsize Employers and Forbes’s 2023 Best Large Employers.

I wanted to know what toy and toy-related companies* were included. In doing my search, it became apparent that no toy companies were large enough to make the Large Employer list. As a result, I focused on the Midsize Employer list.

Kudos to Lego, Build-A-Bear, and Mattel for making the list. I have to say that when I ever see a list that values companies by by excellence, Lego is right near the top.

*A toy-related company is a retailer or wholesaler that carries toys. It can also be a media company that provides licensing opportunities.
