Movies That Were to Supposed to Open in 2020 but Are Premiering in 2021

There are going to be a whole lot of movies releasing in 2021. Here is a list of movies that were supposed to open last year but, due to Coronavirus, will be premiering this year.

Morbius – March 19
Morbius is a spin-off from the Spider-Man franchise about a vampire good/bad guy. It stars Jared Leto.

Black Widow – May 7
Another Marvel release starring Scarlett Johansen as the former KGB agent and later a member of the Avengers

Godzilla Vs. Kong May 21
Two old friends go at it again in this movie from Warner Bros.

Ghost Busters: Afterlife – June 11
This sequel brings back some of the original cast. Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts all take a bow.

Jungle Cruise – July 30
A Walt Disney film based upon the company’s Jungle Cruise theme park ride. It stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Emily Blunt.

Dune – October 1
A 2021 take on the popular science fiction novel first published in 1965. This is not the first film adaption of the challenging book.

Eternals – November 5
Yet another Marvel movie about a race of aliens who have gathered together to protect Earth.
