Loren T. Taylor, a True Gentleman, Passes Away

Loren Taylor passed away on Monday, March 27 after a long and valiant fight against a rare form of cancer. He was only 63. He is survived by his wife, Lee Ann and their children, Caley and Colton.

Loren was a solid guy, a nice guy, a talented guy and above all a true gentleman. Loren was an active member of the toy community and you could always expect to see him at toy industry events.  We didn't know each other that well but I could always count on  him for a smile and a good conversation. I liked him.

Loren had a rich background in the toy industry and lots of friends. Over the course of his career he managed great lines like Hot Wheels and Nerf and he worked for some excellent companies before going out on his own and forming Taylored Concepts. He held an impressive 9 issued US patents with several US and Foreign patents pending.

There will be a memorial service for Loren on Saturday, April 8th at the Chatham United Methodist Church. For more information on the service, please visit the Bradley Funeral Home website.

The family has asked for donations to be made to The Loren T. Taylor Charitable Fund through the Chatham United Methodist Church.

Rest in peace, Loren. We will miss you.
