Gemütlichkeit at the Spielwarenmesse

The word Gemütlichkeit is German in origin and defines an environment that creates a cheerful mood.  That is the best way I know to describe the atmosphere here in Nuremberg for the show.

Most booths come equipped with food and drink (frequently from the exhibitor's native country) and greet a visitor with warmth and interest.  Having said that, I want to compliment Jerry Kallman Jr. and Mark Alt of Kallman Associates, the group that manages the US participation at the fair.  They do a great job of not just organizing the American presence but providing the aforesaid "Gemütlichkeit."  Now that is value added.
