Thanksgiving kicks off the Christmas selling season so I thought it might be fun to share some of the balloons featured in Macy's Thanksgiving Day parades in the 1930’, 40's and 50's. I am going to start with this giant nose character…thing…or whatever it is.
Most likely it is a figure of Pinocchio promoting the 1940 Disney animated film of the same name.
