Did you know there was a Board Game Hall of Fame?  You did?
Well, I did not.

It is the work of Games Magazine which has been inducting
winners since 1984
.  To be inducted, the
game has to have been on the market for at least ten years.

In case, you also were unaware of the Board Game Hall of
Fame, here are the members in order of when the games were first published
(with a few asides by me):

*I
had no idea Yahtzee was this old.

**People must have been loving mysteries at that time as
Agatha Christie alone wrote 24 over the course of 1947 and 1948.

^Chuck Foley, the creator, recently passed away at the
age of 82.

^^Hugely popular video game, Civilization is now in its
18th edition.
