  1. The “Mom” thing is a myth.
    Allow me to explain; when you look at research you see, and it is true, that Moms do go to the store and procure most items.
    But when you look at the rest of the data you also see that Moms but what their children want, even if they disagree with the purchase. This is why you see reports about how Moms dislike violent video games and Bratz dolls…yet still buy them in record numbers.
    So while Moms are a piece of the retail puzzle, the end user, the child, is still the biggest piece. The exception n to this is infant toys, since children who can’t speak are unable to make requests.
